Hi, both responders, it does state that it is suitable for windows 7 and 8. The model is a Belkin Bluetooth v4.0 EDR USB Adapter. On the Installation CD it states software driver and Manual. Each time I try to install it on my system the installation fails.
This does not show any error reference, it simply will not install. I am beginning to think that I have wasted my money. Thank you both for your interest. Will wait for your remarks. PS, I do have another system, Windows 7 32bit, will try on that and see how it goes.
