I am using a Toshiba Dynadock 3.0 at both of my offices as a docking station. Both have worked on my Surface Pro 3 when on Windows 8 and 8.1.
With Windows 10, audio does not play through the dock to the monitor. Have updated all drivers from TOSHIBA and DISPLAYLINK. Apple Mobile Device Recovery Mode Driver Windows 10. Display Link indicates it is a known issue that Microsoft is aware of and to post here for potential resolution. Dispalylink inidicats it is an issue with the inbox USB 3.0 driver. Has anyone had resolution to this issue or potential work around besides using a usb 2.0 cable?
Hi, Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community. Sound problems can be caused by cables that aren't connected properly, damaged drivers, incompatible drivers, sound settings, missing updates, and problems with your sound card.
The package provides the installation files for DisplayLink USB Device Driver version 8.2.1360.0. Go to Device Manager (right click on My Computer, choose Manage and then find Device Manager in the left panel), or right click on Start Menu for Windows 10 and select Device Manager. If you need to reinstall your DisplayLink video drivers due to issues with Windows 10, here's a rundown of the easiest way to do it.
