Hello Pamela, Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community. We understand the inconvenience you have experienced. Let us know few things to analyze the issue. • What do you mean by this statement 'keep having to 'enable' the printer and re-install the printer drivers'? • You mean to say, printer drivers causing issues? • Are you referring any problem with the drivers deployed through Windows Updates?
Give us brief description about the issue, so that we'll analyze the issue you and guide you accordingly. I'm not sure what you are not understanding; perhaps someone else needs to talk to me about this. 1 minute the printer is working fine; the next it will not work. Then I have to go to 'troubleshooting', 'hardware/devices', and it walks me through. Hp Deskjet 930c Driver Windows 10. Dts Sound Driver Windows 10.
I have to 'enable' the printer, because for some unknown reason, the printer has been disabled without me disabling it. Then I have to add back the drivers, etc. This happens randomly, and constantly, and it is way annoying. Now that I have figured out how to get it back online, I can make it work, but I am tired of doing it and want a permanent fix. As I stated early on, my new laptop with Windows 10 (which I hate, btw), is an HP, and my printer is an HP.
