My iPhone 6 doesn't seem to be recognized as an iPhone in Device Manager as such I am unable to use Windows 10 photos to import any photographs or browse the iPhone as an attached device. I am however able to connect to the phone via iTunes.

Things I have tried: -plugged into different USB ports -uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes -tried to manually update the iPhone driver.no automatic driver found -pointed to the apple drivers folder in Program Files.no drivers found by windows 10 I don't get the typical 'Save to remove hardware' icon in the system tray. I don't see the iPhone as a drive in Windows Explorer. I can't seem to locate a driver manually. I can't possibly be the only person who's had this issue could I? There is nothing related to this issue on the web so far.
